We’re proud of our team members, and we want everyone to know how great they are. That’s why each month we talk with one of our employees to let them share how they shine in their role. This month, we’re talking with reception extraordinaire Karen Barker.
What’s been your most exciting project recently?
The most exciting project I’ve worked on personally is my parents 60th wedding anniversary celebration back in August. I have five brothers, and being the only girl I did most — okay, let’s be honest — ALL of the work!
Professionally, I would say it is all of the changes that go along with new employees and additional properties. It’s always a moving wheel and never boring.
How do you utilize our core values in your role?
I strive to use our core values daily, as I not only enjoy working with so many different people on a daily basis. The many personalities that call in to the office certainly make flexibility a must.
What have been some highlights during your time with Clemons?
Some of the best that come to mind is the fun we have enjoying meals together at the holidays as a “working family “. When you have fun with your working family, you are more willing to go that extra step for any of them at a later time because you would want it done for you.
