We’re proud of our team members, and we want everyone else to know how great they are. That’s why each month we talk with one of our employees to let them share how they shine in their role. This month, we’re talking with Marketing Assistant Holly Edwards.

What’s been your most exciting project recently?

While I don’t typically have “exciting” projects as most of my work entails curating, editing, and deploying emails, there is one project I’m looking forward to. We recently re-launched our Instagram page, and were discussing content needed. I had the idea of collaborating with our brokerage team and interviewing business owners when they lease our spaces. Featuring new businesses is exciting for me because it helps me learn the KC area, and it helps our followers and potential clients see that we care about the growth of our city.

How do you utilize our core values in your role?

I have to be collaborative, flexible, and resourceful every single day in my role because it is constantly being re-defined. As far as collaboration goes, I am in communication all the time with every broker on our team, along with our leasing team for marketing purposes, and even our finance team to assist with invoices. I am flexible by turning around projects as quickly as possible, oftentimes same-day. Working remotely since starting with Clemons has forced me to be resourceful. I find myself on the website and in Google Docs multiple times a week looking for information.

What have been some highlights during your time with Clemons?

I have worked for Clemons for almost 3 years now, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I would say one of the biggest highlights has been moving to Kansas from Alabama and getting to finally meet the people I’ve worked with for so long. Melissa and I were like little kids when we finally saw each other for the first time!
